Mizuchi Breed

The Mizuchi are the gilled humanoids born with the lower half of a seal, eel, fish variety, or marine mammal of some kind. Their average lifespan ranges from 200-300 years. They typically have scales and fins, which often are not shed when they take to the land. Their touch, even when they leave the water, is usually cool and sometimes slightly wet. All of the Mizuchi are capable of taking to land only at night and, must be back in the sea or a water source of some kind before dawn or face suffocation and potential death on land. Mizuchi are gifted with the ability to transform into a certain sea creature but are only capable of taking one chosen feral form. Generally the Mizuchi work as fishermen, collectors of shell and ore, jewelers, surveyors, and kelp farmers, etc.
